POLO LESSONS
The Poway Polo Club offers group and private instruction for beginners to advanced level players. Lessons are taught by our certified United States Polo Association instructors. Instruction is centered upon your goals, individual skill level, and experience. Lessons are focused upon the development of riding skills, proper hitting techniques, and the tactical components of the game. Our lessons are focused upon creating a safe, fun, and constructive teaching environment for each individual student.
NO PREVIOUS RIDING OR POLO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!
WHAT TO EXPECT
The first lesson will entail the fundamentals of hitting, basic riding skills, and an overview of the rules governing play. All students will practice fundamentals in a controlled, safe, and fun environment. The majority of your time in the lesson will be on horseback.
WHAT TO BRING TO FIRST LESSON
The proper attire for your polo lessons are required. Proper attire includes jeans, comfortable shirt, and riding boots. If you do not have access to riding boots please wear boots or shoes with a heel such as hiking boots. A riding helmet can be provided if one is not available. Horse rentals are available for all lessons through our club.

Horse Rentals
Poway Polo Club has a number of horse providers available to you for the rental of horses. Horse rentals are available for lessons, club chukkars, tournaments, and outings. Please contact the horse providers listed below directly for pricing and details.
